Divingtrips
A real highlight are the daytrips to the south of the Dominican Republic. In the unique national park around the island Saona or at the housereef of the island Catalina the experienced and fastidious divers will find the finest diving spots of the Caribbean.
Saona
After a 90 min. bustrip through the beautiful landscape of the east of the Dominican Republic you arrive at the marina of "Bayahibe". From there our spacious vessel takes you to the island of Saona, where you can do deep and drift dives. Besides the numerous schools of fishes and an exceptional coral life you can encounter Stingrays, Nursesharks
and with some luck grey Reefsharks. A 110 m long freighter wreck beautiful grown over with colourful coral is waiting to be explored. At lunchtime the hospital Dominicans will provide drinks and food in a Robinson - Crusoe - Style.
Catalina
For the whole family we recommend a visit to the beautiful island of Catalina. You can do 2 dives on different sites and be surrounded by big schools of fishes and abundant coral life. The protected lagoon of the island
is the perfect place for safe snorkelling in turquoise water for the whole family. Even if you are just interested in swimming or freshing up your tan - the secluded beaches of Catalina are the perfect place! Of course there is the typical Dominican Beach Barbecue, all beverages included.
